Journeyman Welder Training Program

    Journeyman Welder Training Program is educational program to teach Journeymen the skill of welding. The program is competency based, allowing for each student to progress at their own rate of speed.     The training program will be approximately 18 weeks in duration, consisting of 28-hours week, 4 hours a night Monday through Friday and 8 hours on Saturday. Classes are administered by Local Union Welding Instructors and are held daily Monday thru Saturday at a Local Union Training Facility.

    The Local Union Welding Instructor or UA Program Administrator may rescind any student’s invitation to participate in the training program at any time, without advance notice. A student will be dismissed upon his or her third absence or third tardy.
