Local 230 was originally Chartered on November 6, 1900 and is the oldest continually operating Building Trades Local in San Diego.
A celebration of our one hundred successful years in San Diego, building all the significant buildings, visitor attractions, and historical landmarks, was held on Saturday November 4, 2000 at the Hyatt Islandia Hotel on Mission Bay.
