   Piping fitting, plumbing, refrigeration, drafting and detailing are all aspects of the trades that are serviced by uniquely qualified Local 230 members. Prepared by a performance based apprenticeship program combined with on-the-job training, union members are prepared to work the job as you bid it. From general plumbing and pipefitting skills to high tech training, our members are prepared to keep you competitive. In addition to the State certified apprenticeship program, Local 230 provides free continuous certified journeymen training.

            With the availability of U. A. training programs, P.I.P.E. certification classes and Local 230’s hands on training center, you will receive qualified people to fill the job you bid. We have personnel that have the training, skills, knowledge, experience and motivation that you need to bring the job in on time! Today’s union member is aware that you nee the best craftsperson you can get; people with the skill and experience to get the job done at any level.

Specialized training is available in many fields including orbital welding, medical gas installation, valve repair, back flow preventers, service and repair plumbing, refrigeration, refrigeration recovery, polypro pipe installation, controls, competent persons, HVAC, PVDF and clean room applications.
